Bring your class to Ditzler Orchard!

Ditzler Orchard offers tours of our seasonal operation to schools and other groups on a first come first serve basis. Reservations are made for groups starting the second week in August running through November 1st. Tour hours are 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. A small per person fee is charged.

On a tour you can expect to see the 10 acre orchard, picking machinery, a bee hive, the cold storage building, the cider room and the grading room. Apple samples will be tasted while in the orchard. All children receive a complimentary apple and activity to take back to the classroom at the end of the tour. There is time for parents and teachers to shop in the store at the end of the tour. Tours take approximately 45 min to 1 hour depending on the size of your group.
